We Provide Second Opinions
Galvez Dental is happy to provide a second opinion on a treatment plan you have already received from another dentist. In such cases, we will examine your smile and let you know what our findings are and our own dentist recommendations. We will also take care to ensure you understand the original dentist’s suggested course of treatment and why we agree with it or recommend alternate treatment. Your clear understanding of your smile and oral health issues in any treatment you receive is very important to us.

It used to be necessary to send impressions of your tooth to a lab which then created the crown. This process could take up to two weeks. Dental emergencies can’t be foreseen or predicted, but when one happens, you need fast treatment. For teeth that have been knocked out or broken, or severe tooth pain, call us immediately at 209-410-6805 and we will do all we can to get you in that same day. If this emergency happens after office hours, go to an urgent care facility or a hospital emergency room, then make an appointment with us the next day. If possible, keep the broken or dislodged tooth because we may be able to save it. Keep the tooth moist in milk or clean water, but do not wash it with soap or alcohol.
